Part 2 - An even bigger story?
Here is another video we produced. The main feature is that we used slow motion on the arrest video at a key moment: when Officer Pantaleo first grabs Mr. Garner. We think this changes the story. The video also covers some of the territory from Part 1.
Why don't the attorneys in the Brooklyn office want to prosecute the chokehold case? Perhaps because of a video like this.
This is about six minutes long. Another one of our videos follows it.

Whether you believe all this or not, we produced another video here to further clarify things. This is similar to the previous one, but with a slightly different perspective, and it fills in possible gaps. And it uses the running timer to really lock in the main points. If you now agree with us in seeing this whole incident in a different way, then marvel at the conclusion to this one. And please tell us what you thought as you witnessed the ending.
This is also about six minutes long.
Summary
We were determined to minimize our editorial comments.
We want to be journalists who focus on facts, and who dig to find facts. We didn't see that happen anywhere for this incident. We think the extreme emotions blinded everyone. And we will always regard the arrest video as being a Master Magician, capable of fooling an entire room.... an entire world.
We want to steer clear of all the politics.
But, we realize that this at first may seem disrespectful to Eric Garner, his family, and beyond. We pause here to respect them........
But...
After a discussion, might we be considering the enormity of the disrespect shown to Officer Pantaleo, the NYPD, and all police?
May the facts prevail.
Peace,
The independent journalists at Tendlightt Journalism
